Currently Reading #1

Salam dears,
Since I love books, saja terpikir nak share ngan other book worms out there on what I'm currently reading.  Kot kot leh bagi idea kat korang on what to read next and u all pun leh suggest kat Mama what good books to read after I've finised this.

I'm currently reading...

I love omnibus books like this
coz u can get 2 books for the price of 1, yayyy!

Skarang Mama tengah dok baca yang 'First Among Equals' tu.  It's a tale about 4 men's political journey and rivalry to become UK's Prime Minister.  Here's a synopsis of the novel, taken from GoodReads.com:

"Charles Seymour, second-born son, will never be the earl like his father, but he did inherit his mother's strength-and the will to realize his destiny...Simon Kerslake's father sacrificed everything to make sure his son's dreams come true. Now it is Simon's chance to rise as high as those dreams allow...Ray Gould was born to the back streets but raised with pride-a quality matched by a sharp intellect and the desire to attain the impossible...Andrew Fraser was raised by a soccer hero turned politician. Now it's his turn for heroics, whatever the cost.

From strangers to rivals, four men embark on a journey for the highest stakes of all-the keys to No. 10 Downing Street. Unfolding over three decades, their honor will be tested, their loyalties betrayed, and their love of family and country challenged. But in a game where there is a first among equals, only one can triumph.
"

Mama tak minat and tak paham sangat about politics tapi Mama suka cara Jeffrey Archer menulis, how he unveils the lives of his main characters and how his plots grows.  And he's quite witty too hehe.

That's why I find this book to be interesting and engrossing enough sampai menyebabkan aii terlepas stesen bila dok kusyuk baca buku ni dalam LRT :-).

Buku Jeffrey Archer yang lain yang Mama suka ialah Kane & Abel, The Prodigal Daughter and Paths of Glory.

Kalau korang tengah mencari a good book to read and korang blum pernah baca buku buku Jeffrey Archer, why not give it a try?  You might enjoy it, like me ;-)
